He’s the highest-ranked state-of-Michigan recruit on the service since linebacker LaMarr Woodley in 2003. … Peoples-Jones plans to enroll early at the school of his choosing. … He went on an official visit to Michigan last weekend, along with several high-end U-M commitments such as Ambry Thomas, Josh Ross and Jaylen Kelly-Powell. Alabama running back commit Najee Harris, the No. 1 recruit in the country for 2017, was also on that visit. … Peoples-Jones also went on official visits to Ohio State (Oct. 8), Florida (Nov. 12), Florida State (Dec. 2) and Nebraska (Sept. 3). … Peoples-Jones tallied six catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns in Cass Tech’s Division 1 championship victory last month.
