Detroit Cass Tech’s Donovan Peoples-Jones is honored as a 2017 U.S. Army All-America on Oct. 1, 2016, in Detroit.

Detroit Cass Tech star Donovan Peoples-Jones has narrowed his list of potential college destinations to five.

The nation’s top-rated receiver posted an edit Sunday listing Michigan, Michigan State, Florida, Ohio State and Florida State. He showed himself wearing a uniform representing each school (U-M winged helmet, MSU thigh pad, Florida pants, etc.)

Peoples-Jones is considered one of the top targets from the state in years and plans to enroll in college early, so a decision should come by December. He officially visited MSU this month, and Michigan unofficially. He plans to take official visits to the Florida schools, most likely after Cass Tech’s season is over.

The 6-foot-2, 192-pounder is ranked No. 12 overall in the 247Sports Composite.

Note: Michigan commit Josh Ross of Orchard Lake St. Mary’s was named a semifinalist for the high school Butkus Award. It’s given to the nation’s best linebacker.
